In particular, this merges in the recent changes
to `master` from #14618 that adjust the
edit-distance calculation class and simplify its
input format.
These changes intersected with some epic/autocorrect
code added by #14617 and #14462 , which needed tweaks
to work correctly with the new format.

Using Android Studio's tool to convert the top level RelativeLayout to ConstraintLayout. This way, the edge-to-edge doesn't cover up the top and bottom portions of the app.
Also apply insets so app and keyboard fit in usable areas.
